New to group & question about herbs

Hello, I've just joined this group. I am interested in learning more about

alternative health

care. I am already active on Natural Care Dog lists, and think you folks might

be able to

help me too.

 

Several years ago I took a dog to a Veterinarian Herbalist. This Veterinarian

has is no

longer avaliable to me, so I can't ask her. She gave me an Herbal supplement to

stop my

dog's diarrhea--I cannot remember it's name. It's a tiny be-be looking black

pill

which you were to give like 12 of them to the dog at a time.

 

I go to a Chiropractor who is an Herbalist, so I'd like to get some more of this

supplement.

But, as you know, he cannot tell me what it is (he'd be practicing veterinary

medicine

without a license :-O But, if I go in and ask for it by name I can buy it from

them. Can

anyone help me figure out what the name is?
