It's called the Zotob virus. Microsoft says it searches for holes in computers with Windows 2000. But anti-virus software companies are reporting hits in other versions. Once the worm penetrates the system, it gives attackers complete control of computers. Hundreds of infections have been reported in the U.S. and Germany. Microsoft is offering patches to fix its security flaws. Customers who believe they have been attacked should contact their local FBI office or post their complaint on the Internet Fraud Complaint Center Web site. http://www.ifccfbi.gov/ Click here for more information from Microsoft. http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/zotob.mspx (© MMV, CBS Broadcasting, Inc. .)
