Guest guest
I am not sure it is a BR bite, appears to match what I've found on the web. Got this bite in an old cabin in Michigan last week while sleeping. I've been using fresh aloe gel directly on it, it's over a week old now and still a huge bubble and pretty darned gross. I did see family doc who said if it were a BR bite I'd already be dead.. HAHA.. My research indicates it takes 2 weeks after the bite for the skin to atrophy, so you don't die instantly. I've also been upping my Vit C dose to a few thousand MG daily. Suggestions appreciated. Malinda
Guest guest
Do you live where there are brown recluses?? Cann vector control, and a local veterinarian. Most spider bites, that mimic grown recluse bites, are NOT. The spiders apparently do not migrate very much. If you DO live where they live...see another doctor, as soon as you can!! I had something...who knows what, on my leg, a few years ago. I went to four different docs. Finally wound up at a dermatologist. I cannot speak *lowly* enough of his earliest diagnosis. He told me that he didn't know what it was, but it wasn't cancer. To this day, no one knows for sure what it was. It eventually ulcerated, and they thought it was very similar to a diabetic ulcer (i'm not diabetic, not even close). Took almost three years to heal. If you have animals..and trust your vet, that is who I would seek infor from!! Guest guest
Dear Malinda, The best things things that I ever come across to take poisons are vitamin C and E. I would spread vitanin E and C directly on the bite in huge amounts. The E will help protect the surrounding tissues from the poison. The vitamin C will detoxify the poisons but you will need to take it in large amounts orally also. good luck, Frank Alternative _Forum , " Malinda " <malindajackson@s...> wrote: > I am not sure it is a BR bite, appears to match what I've found on the > web.
