Experimental crops genetically engineered to produce

powerful drugs have

been grown in open fields across the country, near

populated areas and crops

grown for food. When insects, animals, or weather spread

pollen and seeds

across the landscape, the drugs and genetic material travel

right along with

them to pollinate other plants or be eaten by wildlife.

They could even end

up in your breakfast. The biotech industry won't share

information, like the

location of test fields. Our government must require that

they do. This

controversial industry needs public oversight and
