Guest guest
SSRI-Research@ Sat, 16 Jul 2005 03:46:05 -0000 [sSRI-Research] [drugawareness] Press Release http://www.drugawareness.org Recently, our website passed a milestone in the number of home page visits--a half million visitors like yourself have sought out the ICFDA site as a reliable source for real truths about many of today's dangerous medications. We began posting information to this site in 1999, and fortunately, we have in the last few years we have seen much progress. Warnings have been issued. Public consciousness has been raised to a level we could only have imagined a short time ago. Through it all, we have been most grateful for you. Thanks for writing us, sending us articles of interest and sharing your personal stories. This is a site dedicated to you, and sadly, in many cases to the memories of those who lost their lives, or are now imprisioned, due to the effects of some of today's most insidious prescription medications. There are currently over 500 articles posted on this site which are a grim testimony to the many years that the FDA--the one agency we trust with our safety--has hidden the real truth about today's best- selling prescription drugs. And these articles remain a sobering reminder of how the major pharmaceutical companies have conspired to put their own profits ahead your own health and well-being. Going forward, we will continue to bring you the latest developments in this still unfinished and messy business. However, stories will now be posted only to our ICFDA where they can be easily searched and viewed. The articles posted through the end of 2004 will remain on our site and can be accessed through the " Archives " link. As always, these are searchable as well via the Google box on our home page. The home page will be updated with major announcments and information much like you see now. Our home page now for example has a link to Dr. Tracy's Press Release and the recent FDA announcment linking SSRI's for the first time to adult suicidality. Please let us know how this site might be improved to better serve your needs and interests. We are grateful for your patience as we know it has been some time since we have updated the information you will find there. As you may know, this site is entirely supported and funded by volunteers who have no other agenda but to save lives and to share information that so many of us have learned in the most tragic ways. Gratefully, Your ICFDA Webmaster and Kansas Regional Director Mark Miller
