Guest guest
Honey is known to have incredible anti-bacterial properties. Various studies have been done with honey in taking many forms of disease bacterias and putting honey to the test. Within a few days at most all the forms of bacteria that were used were all dead within a few days. One of those being typhoid-fever producing germs which died in 48 hours. Many, many more studies have been done by different people and the results are always the same. Honey is also used to treat hayfever. Raw honey or honeycomb is taken internally. This has to be local honey. The reason for this is because the bees polinate the flowers, so the honey contains all the allergins in the area and helps your body become immune to them. I have personal friends who have a honey farm in our area. They have 9 children and they encorporate honey in their diet very often. The dentist they go to is incredibly suprised that none of them have cavities and that they have incredibly healthy teeth and gums. The reasoning for this is because honey is antibacterial. Many people take a spoon of honey at night before they go to bed. Some of this get's left behind in the mouth and destroys all unhealthy bacteria. How cool is that?
