To think that the " major media " is going to change is to be naive.

To get truth, one must find alternative sources for information and to help

others find them also. Here is one. To read or is free.

You don't " replace " the " ...moribund mainstream media, " as easily as is

suggested here. Replacing mainstream media, means vastly more than

substantially improving the way the message is communicated, telling the " whole "

truth about events, etc. Improving mass media, means " reaching " a mass

audience. If all you do is improve the message, while maintaining a mindset

that downgrades the importance of bringing this better message to a vast

audience, such as is reached by mass media, you've barely made any progress at

all. One of the problems of having, for too long, occupied a position in

" underground " media, is that you are naturally inclined to the view that it's

" how " you frame and communicate the message that matters most; when in fact,

merely reaching a vast audience can be much more important in the long run, than

precisely how you've created your message. The difference between mass media

and underground media is more than qualitatitve; there is an equally important

quantitative dimension.

We're accustomed to complaining about the sloppiness, the inaccuracies and

nonsense communicated by mass media outlets. We assume it's involuntary. In

fact, it's all, including the " sloppiness, " meticulously crafted to save time

and reach a maximum audience. Corporate meda don't care particularly, " how " they

tell you a lie; they're principally concerned with getting the lie out there

where it can do the most damage against the " liberals, " and provide the most

effective cover, protecting the asses of their pet puppets in the political

leadership. Their attitude is, " get the news out there, to tens of millions of

people; we can clean it up later. " By the time the left has " perfected " a

counter-attack, the news will have lost its punch and timeliness, and, will not

be, or won't be allowed to be, heard by enough people to make a difference, in

any case.

John,

I would love to have the mass media tell the truth. I cannot make them do that.

I also realize that they are not, under the present forseeable situation going

to tell the truth. I can put a lot of effort into trying to make them do that,

but I know that I and the population, at least at this point, have no power to

bring that about.

The only chance that we have, is to use what we have. The only thing that we do

have and can be utilized to a signifigant scale, at least at this point, is the

internet. So with that as our only option what else could we do but use it. Does

it equal the power of the mass media? Of course not. Do I wish that it did. Yes.

I can't use what I want, I must use what I have.

Tactics? I do not plan on answering much of any of the propaganda. I plan to put

the truth forward period. They will continue spouting lies, misinformation,

misdirection, etc. They would love us to all try and play catch up forever,

trying to correct, and trying to straighten out, and " prove " that they lied,

etc. That is a fools game for us that we could never win. The only option we

have is to spread the truth by attacking, on the only open, no matter how puny

of scale the method of distribution, is the internet. All we need is about

another 10 million helpers willing to help spread that truth. Don't laugh, it

could happen.
