Dear Group,

I will try and cover some very basics in natural health and healing.

Please try and bear with me. I am not good at speaking or writing but

I will try anyhow.

Try and conceive of a complex natural environment like a lake, river,

stream, rainforest, whatever.

Let's use a lake for example purposes. A lake is a complex ecosytem

made up off plant life, animal life, bacterial, viral, protazan life,

etc. It has many different types of nutrients, minerals, foods, gases,

in it's water, shore, bottom, etc. All of it acts in harmony and

balance. It keeps itself in balance. It will only support life and in

harmony if the natural ecosystem balance is allowed to be maintained. Screw with

the ecosystem of that lake at the peril of damaging it or killing it.

If we make a judgement call and add poisons into the ecosytem to kill

a certain part, say a bacteria, we change the ecosystem and affect

many other parts of the system. We will egt overgrowth of some other

parts not affected. A much better system would be.. if we thought that

some bacterial part was to much, we could add other different bacterial parts to

keep it in check. We do the same when we feel that the bacteria in the stomach

and intestions is out of whack and choose to put in good bacteria to keep the

bad in check.

We could have chosen to take a poison to try and kill the bad bacteria

but that would in most cases would have caused much further problems

and the effect would have only been temporary anyway, because when the

poison was gone, the bad would just come back and probably be worse

than ever because we also probably killed off any good ones too which

played a part in keeping the bad ones in check.

Back to the lake... each of the plant life, animal life, bacterial

life, etc. there must have the nutrients, mineral, gases, waters, etc.

that it needs or it dies out and causes further disruptions of all the

other forms of life that it played a part in. If one of the parts dies

out it effects all of the other parrts that relied onto it for life in

some way. The body is made up of many different, organs, systems, etc.

The body is an ecosystem, that needs to be given what it needs to

maintain it's balance and harmony. If not it becomes out of balance,

organ or sytems do not function properly and problems will be sure to

come. The body and all it's ecosystem is a self regulating, self balancing, self

healing system.

Leave out one necessary mineral and organs/systems will be damaged,

die, or run at a greatly reduced efficiency. Leave out on essential

amino acid and you are looking at destruction on the host. Leave out

many things and we are in real trouble. These are things that the body

needs to survive on a cellular level. The body utilizes what it needs

minute by minute and second by second. If it needs really huge amounts

of vitamin C to kill an invader then it is our job to see that it gets

it so that it can do it's job without being hampered. Or any other

nutrient that it needs at that specific moment. We give the body what it needs

to regain balance and healthy harmony.

Some times we have great deficiencies caused by some occurance in the

body that uses up all of a specific nutrient either in an emergency or

chronic conditions.

Herbs, homeopathy, drugs, etc. are secondary to this need. You cannot

cure a deficiency of a nutrient with anything other than that specific

nutrient.

Education not medication

regards,

Frank
