Dear Group,

Vimegar is great stuff to use for many natural things, but you need to

be aware that you must buy " natural vinegar " as many vinegars on the

market today are not real biologically active vinegars made from food.

A lot of vinegars today are made in a chemical process from petroleum.

If they had left a little bit more of the raw petroleum oil part into

it, you could have had " oil and vinegar " in one bottle.

of days in a row and then maintain with a weekly footbath.

When I get the beginnings of a sore throat, or congestion drainage down the

back of my throat, I gargle with vinegar several times a day, and always

swallow an ounce or so in the process.

It quickly sends the ailment away usually within an hour to a day.

And by swallowing a bit it coats the length of the whole thing. The aroma

always chokes me a bit. But I think that even the lungs have received a

dose.

I was told by a nurse that this might work because " it changes the PH of

those mucus membranes long enough to make them uninhabitable by whatever

critters are digging in. In other words it doesn't matter whether or not the

vinegar kills the germs, it invites them to exit by altering their

environment. " That makes sense to me.

My thought has always been that every medicene one needs can be found in the

kitchen.

Ideas on Treating a fungus infection of a toe or

fingernail.

To kill the fungus you need to keep the area very

clean and dry. Throw out infected shoes. Wash and dry

the feet.

Soak the toes with hydrogen peroxide and then blow

dry.

Be sure to take a zinc supplement. A trace of zinc

often makes the difference in healing a fungus

infection.

Over the counter fungus sprays often work on a finger

or toe nail if combined with the above advice as well

as the zinc supplement. There are different chemicals

in the products. If one brand does not work. Try

another with a different active ingredient.

Vinegar probably would help, too, but I would

definitely use a topical anti-fungal product after a

vinegar treatment. A fungus is very hard to kill.

Since you are dealing with a plant which has burrowed

into your tissues, keeping the area as dry as possible

will help kill it.

Also, any external sign of fungus likely points to an

internal problem as well. Food Grade Hydrogen

peroxide therapy works well for killing yeast

infections.

Of course, one should also reduce sugar intake and

improve one's overall diet in the direction of

natural, whole foods. Fruits and fruit juices contain

a lot of sugar so vegetables should be preferred as a

source of food while getting the infection under

control.

It can take a long time to defeat a fungus infection,

so rather than looking at a silver bullet approach,

one must embark on a series of steps in the direction

of better health. It can take years to fully

eradicate but eventually the condition can be

overcome.

Dr. Crook has a lot of helpful advice on treating and

healing the body from fungus. His books would be a

good place to start for understanding the overall

problem.
