Guest guest
Hello, I had a total hysterectomy when I was 27. I have been on an Estrogen patch for the past 6 years (synthetic). My doctor took me off of the patch when I told her that my Mother had a pre-cancerous lump in her breast, and my Grandmother died of breast cancer. I am researching in hopes of finding a natural source of horomones. I know that I need hormone replacement--I have never felt the same since I had my surgery, and I think that I am too young to be without hormones for so long--the lack of them cannot be good for my body. The doctor also tried to put me on an anti-depressant. She said that I would need it since I am not on Estrogen anymore. I refused to take it-- I cringe to think of the poisions that the patch put into my body, and I certainly did not what to take anything else synthetic. I also think that giving me a anti-depressant was just " putting a band-aid " on my symptoms. It does not address the source of the problem. Does anyone have any experience with this type of situation? I would really appreciate any information that anyone would have to share. Thank you.
