Guest guest
Try giving yourself more sunshine - helps depression, plus helps utilize calcium with the vitamin D you absorb from the sun. Also, since you say the magnesium doesn't seem to do anything, perhaps your body needs more natural source of the magnesium, i.e., more deep green vegetables. With fibromyalgia, I wonder what your intake of processed carbs is like...raw fruits and vegetables being much better, and avoiding grains being much better for fibromyalgia too. Also, what is your protein intake? As the heart is a muscle perhaps increasing muscle tone by weight lifting (can use very light - 1 lb weights) will help to strengthen it too. I need to do it to improve health but if I try my heart goes bananas. 2 minutes on a stationary bike caused an AF attack (recorded on 24hr holter ecg). I cant walk far either. When I feel able, Im doing some gentle stationary cycling, but every time I get a few days of 10 mins or so in Im set back again, usually for 10 to 14 days, so havent been able to build anything up. I used to walk miles every day and loved it, till I couldnt any more. (Im 50 BTW and also have M.E, aka CFS and FMS and other stuff going on)

(Im 50 BTW and also have M.E, aka CFS and FMS and other stuff going on) Currently Im taking 3x30mg coenzymeq10 which Im splitting in halves to spread out and see if it helps any, Magnesium varies, average 3 to 400mg daily as Im worried I will OTT on that and know calcium balance out. I have calcium but dont like to take it because I understand it can thicken the blood and I really do not need that. Most with AF take warfarin. I have recently begun taking nattokinase which is an enzyme that dissolves clots in blood, I tried three 50mg a day but it made my lower left leg numb so have dropped to one 50mg. Legs still numb but not so severely. Im figuring its because its doing its job and clearing some stuff out. Im on my own dealing with everything because meds are contraindicated. My Cardiologist just says if something helps take it, and for now I can avoid warfarin. So its not that Im trying to ignore medical advice but rather I dont get any. In a way Im glad because meds are posions IMO Apologies for sounding full of self pity, Im not really, thats just how it comes across when filling in they whats and whys. I do have depression (again untreated) but cope well according to family ;-) Carole >>>>I take coenzyme q10 because it stops my heart irregularities and so I have a normal beat, BUT it raises the number of beats to around 100 while resting. I need the coenzyme, so Im looking for something that naturally lowers the heart speed, Does anyone know what will reduce the heart speed?
