Censorship by Harrassment

Dear Group,

 

It appears that though it is not outright overt censorship someone is

trying to accomplish that by harrassment and causing us problems,

possibly by someone at but who and on what level I do not

know.

 

It has been an ongoing problem here where we will have " gliches " ,

mistakes, " accidental shutdowns " , disappearing of data, false messages

with my name or others, embeded members causing problems that we are

unable to remove, etc for the last 3 years. And now someone has

changed a bunch of email options for members and past members on

some other level above what our group options allow us to do on the group level.

All of our group settings are still the same.

 

We post mainly articles from other sources that are not found in most

main stream media. This is an alternative group. It is not mainstream.

For that we wouldn't need a group just a TV or major US newspaper.

 

I have stated many times in this group that if someone is here it is

because they joined for some reason or another. We did not force them

here and we do not force anyone to read the messages.

 

Do we have enemies, obviously we do. We try and post things which have

a ring of truth in a world drowning in spin and lies. I mean what a

novel concept - Truth. Whether it be about whatever vested interest, including

among others Big Pharma, Big Medicine, Big Agro, Big Chemical, Big Money, Big

Media, Big Politics, The military/industrial complex, fake science, fake news,

the bullshit politics of both the democrats and republicans in the USA or sell

out politicos of whatever country. If someone here doesn't like it or doesn't

want to read these articles they certainly do not have to. It is easy to delete,

, find a more mainstream group ( there are hundreds of thousands of

groups out there) start your own group, whatever.

 

No one from this group or at has ever said that the

articles here are false or lies and shown us so, so I have to assume that they

think those articles may have some truth in them, but they just don't like that

much truth, Or possibly they prefer a " more selective truth " (spin) to show

their interests, prejudices or biases in a more favorable or false light and

only post " bad things " about the " other side " or opposition. I can only refer

those people to the same list of options given in the paragraph above. Why is

" truth " such a danger to certain people?

 

Instead of like minded people coming together here we instead get people who

think that we don't have the " right " to post or read those articles. They think

that we should conform to what their concept of " right thinking " means to them.

That is thinking derived from an authoritarian dictatorship point of view, in

which they are afraid that some truth might hurt them or the staus quo. If truth

is dangerous, who is it dangerous to? And why is it dangerous to them? To the

very powerful, if it is not truth it will not stick to them or withstand much

time anyhow. It will be easily disproved. They have almost all of the power

anyway. It is thousands of times harder to get " truth out " about those powerful

interests. Are some people so afraid of truth that they will take the time and

trouble to harrass a dinky little group as ours. How can people justify that a

lie is better to serve. The important question is, Who does it serve? And why?

But when people react with spin, misdirection, lies to cover up and other

tactics of subterfuge and not directly confront something and fall back onto

lies, spin, harrassment, causing those who say differently such problems or

character assination, or some other underhanded sneaky actions, etc. it gives

one pause to think that if they do not want something known in the open then

maybe they have plenty to hide. And if it has to be " hidden " and can't stand the

light of day, then maybe it might " stink " to high heaven. The coverup only

benifits those involved and cheats everyone else in some way and puts off the

day of reckoning till when the truth eventually comes out. But many people will

be damaged somehow in the interim till that truth eventually comes out.

 

Those things that I am talking about are unacceptable in a civilized society.

 

has many thousands of groups on most any subject that you can think

of, but maybe like most major media they just don't have much room for truth.
