Protest Here, Protest There, Protests Protests Everywhere!

 

 

If you've been following the foreign press this week you'll note that

anti-American sentiment and protests are at an all-time high.

 

But apparently, it's not only the foreign Muslim community who has a

beef with the US government sufficient to warrant planning massive

protests to demonstrate their dissatisfaction. In case you hadn't

noticed, numerous anti-war and impeachment protests within the US are

now being planned by our very own citizens, as well.

 

In the USA approval rating that just came out today, it stated that

the public is clearly not happy with the manner in which our

administration is handling things. A record 57% surveyed said they

disagree with Bush on the issues that matter most to them. And only

about half (52%) said that our President has " the personality and

leadership qualities a president should have. " (Bush's lowest rating

in this category, ever).

I've listed below a couple of links that discuss the anti-US protests

being planned by at least 44 various Muslim groups throughout the

world. And I strongly suspect that before the world gets even angrier

with America (and by all indications, anti-American sentiment's

clearly on the rise) it might be a wise idea to start talking with one

another and decide what to do with a government that clearly has

precious few allies (both inside the US and out).

 

How long will the patience of our good Muslim neighbors - and our own

fellow citizens - hold out? When are we going to say enough is enough

and demand an end to being represented by those who clearly are not

looking out for the best interests of the citizens of its own nation

(and who don't seem to give a damn about the rest of humanity, either)?

 

Remember, all thinking people. The Patriot Act provisions were not

designed to keep us safe from those evil-doing foreign boogeymen.

Instead, these growing police state measures are purposely designed to

keep the government safe from its own angry, disgruntled, and fed-up

citizen patriots.

 

And with the masses so upset right now (both in and out of the nation)

it's no wonder that Congress wanted to talk more Patriot Act talk ...

behind closed doors.
