Guest guest
British readers and possibly other EU readers as well are in a different position concerning irradiation of spices. The fact they have been irradiated must be noted on the packaging. In a survey in 2002 only one supplier was found to be breaking this law. Very few companies are irradiating spices. The spices are probably not organic, but that is another point. This information was supplied today by the specialist at the Foods Standards Agency.
