Guest guest
PRShaw56 wrote about the pending legislation called Codex Alimentarius. I really dismissed this whole thing as just another needless panic in the alternative medicine community. I was wrong. I've researched this whole thing very well. What Dr. Laibow says on her website at http://www.healthfreedomusa.org/ is very true and it's only the tip of the iceberg. Codex would demolish our health and our income. 1. Go to the http://www.healthfreedomusa.org/ website. 2. Fax your senator even if you have to run to Kinkos. 3. Stop this horrific attempt by the drug companies to control medicine and put all of us out of business. We have this month and that's all. The vote will be taken at the end of May, 2005. If 51 Senators say yes, we're all in trouble. Trouble like: 1. Genetically engineered and irradiated food will be required. We already know irradiation kills all food enzymes and alters the chemical structure of the food making it basically toxic to humans and of no other nutritional value. We already know more than 80% of all genetic engineering is done to make the plant impervious to higher and higher doses of persticdes and herbicides - which permeate the meat, fruit and vegetables so deeply you can't remove them. 2. Pesticides, herbicides and fungicides will be required and at levels extremely toxic to humans. The argument " you can wash it all off " is not completely true. You can't wash it all off. But what happens to the chemicals you do wash off? They go into the water supply so you can drink them. 3. Pesticides, herbicides and fungicides are extremely toxic to the human body and are already implicated as being one of the primary causes of dimentia, heart disease, cancer, adult onset diabetes, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and all auto-immune diseases. Toxify and die! 4. The prices for vitamins and minerals will go sky high and require a prescription. My friend Alain in France reports prices going from U.S. $6.50 for 250 capsules of 500 mg Vitamin C to US $54.00 for twelve (12)tablets of ten (10) mg Vitamin C plus another US $35.00 for a visit to the doctor to get a prescription. 5. Practicing alternative medical therapies, nutrition counseling and suggesting any supplements of any kind will be illegal. We must stop this insanity now! Thanks for bringing this to my attention PR!
