the Assembly

Health

Committee in opposition to AB 599 by Assembly Member

Mike Gordon. This

bill

would prioritize mental health treatment to California

veterans who are

not

eligible for care from the Veterans Administration

(VA) or who are not

getting adequate mental health care from the VA.

 

Letters must arrive in Sacramento by Tuesday, May 2.

Phone calls and

faxes

must be done during business hours Friday, Monday or

Tuesday, as the

hearing

is on Wednesday.

1) Our valued veterans need good physical care, not

bogus labeling and

drugging by the psychiatric industry.

2) Not ANOTHER tax-dollar give-away to the psychiatric

industry!

3) Psychiatric drugs cause serious physical problems.

This is not a

good

trade-off for suppressing the symptoms psychiatrists

label " mental

illness. "

4) There is no " illness " in " mental illness. " There

is not a single

physiological test for any of the " disorders " that

psychiatrists bill

us to

treat. Quit funding this fraud!
