yes.. there are milk banks.. the donors must follow strict regulations (no

smoking and such things) and their milk is screened. It's like the traditional

wet-nurse only in a bank available to hospitals. :D There are wet nurses

around these days too.

Yes it is. I have a friend who donatated for this purpose. Before the age of

formula, which only came about when WWI and WWII were going on, so women could

go to war and work, these people who donated milk were called " Wet Nurses " .
