Best Regards, Charles Hi Charles, I am very familiar with The liver and the impact it can have on one's quality of life. An inflamed Liver can have you thinking you only have days or hours to live. Inflammation can be cause by a number of factors, both physical and emotional. You should look into Traditional Chinese medicine, there is abundant information and solutions to deal with a sick liver. The easiest and probably the most common cause of severe inflammation is infection. The Chinese have been treating Hepatitis for millennia an offer wonderful approach to treating and understanding the liver and how it works. Common symptoms of inflammation is Dampness and Heat. The two are generated by the infection and feels sorta like a kettle slowly boiling inside you. The best way to treat the cause of the inflammation is to dry up the dampness and cool down the heat. First off, eat raw vegetables (salads with radishes, onions, spinach, cucumber, tomatoes, avocados, bitter greens, celery, etc., and lay off sweets and process foods [white flour and sugar). TCM, treats this condition with herbs and acupuncture. Herbs for drying and cooling, and nutrients used to facilitate a healthy Liver that's inflamed from this condition are. 1. Taraxicum Magnolici (Dandelion) 2. Herba Artemisiae Calillaris (yin chen hao) 3. Scutellariae (huang qin) 4. Milk Thistle (silymarin) 5. Bupleurium (chai hu) 6. Jujubae (da zao) 7. Gentianae Longdancao (long dan cao) 8. Plantaginis (chi qian zi) 9. Curcumae Longa (jiang huang) Tumeric 10.Astragalii (huang qi) 11. Lycium (gou gi zilt) 12. Aloe Vera Juice (8 oz. per day) 13. Vitamin C crystals (high doses) along with whole lemon juice/peel left on blended in a blender with 12 to 14 oz. of warm water and 8 oz. of Aloe Vera Juice. Note: shop around for a good price on pure Organic Aloe Vera Juice. I found that my local Trader Joe's has the best price @ $6.99/gallon Vs $20-30 dollars at some health and nutrient stores. Add to the mix Chyenne Pepper (1/2 teaspoon) and sweeten with Stevia or sweetener of your choice with the exception of refined White Sugar. I drink it daily and find it is a wonderful habit that produces abundant health. Selenium, Alpha Lopoic Acid, L-Glutamine, Vit B's, Fiber supplement, and a parasite cleanse are tremendous aids. I recommend seeing a Professional TMC to suggest formulas that are in balance using these herbs along with other to suit you person needs and conditions. Once you clear up the damp heat, you will feel 100% better and motivate to explore further as they how to maintain good health, starting with a health liver. Good luck on your journey to abundant health and vitality. The light and the divine in me honors the light and the divine in you.
