tung oil and New Years

Hi everybody:

Tung oil is very good. I use it when I refinish furniture. It gives a real

smooth, hard durable finish. My coffee table, which is maple, was used for

some of the grandkids to eat on for Christmas. Nary a scar or any

evidence--still shinny. Only had 16 on Sunday for dinner and 10 on

Christmas.

I sincerely wish all of you a prosperous, healthy, happy and blessed New

Year. I may watch the 'ball' come down and on New Years day my family gets

together and we have " speckin dickin " , an old family tradition that came

over from Germany when my grandparents came to the US. Only now it isn't as

happy an occasion as it used to be for me. My younger sis, that passed away

a year ago, always hosted the big event. I miss her so very, very much. As

has been said--there will always be happy memories and I have many pictures

that I have taken for several years to remind all of us of the good times we

had. Life does go on and I feel blessed for each and every day and a big

thank you to all of you for all the help you have shared with me. Right now

I think I will go get my 'calming spritz' and continue cleaning house.

Blessings and lots of love,

Effie
