Guest guest
Anyone here know anything about Feng Shui? I am rearranging what seems like my whole house (actually .. it is my whole house ) and I'm wondering if there are any Feng Shui basics I should keep in mind .... *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com
Guest guest
I know odd bits, but I'm sure there's loads on the net. Only things I can remember is 1. not to sit at a desk with your back to the door and 2. always put down the loo seat because otherwise all your wealth could go down the drain!!!!!!!!!! Guest guest
Locate the SW corner of the house (big chi) and each room (small chi). You want to place items such as crystals, candles (never use only two as it signifies death - three is good, or light, etc in these corners. Crystals carry the good chi of the earth, lights attact the energy of romance. Do not put plants in the SW corner, it takes away from the earth's energy. Also do not use wood or water to decorate this corner; use crystal, porcelin, clay, paintings of mountains, mirror (not in bedroom, kitchen or bathroom). Mirrors should not reflect a bed, door, window, staircase, toilet or kitchen. They should reflect earth object to bring good luck. Balance your energy with both yang chi (masculine and yin chi (feminine). Mix colours, bright yang colours in living and dining areas, dark restful yin hues in bedrooms. Do not place your bed looking out a door. There is a lot more, but thats all I can remember right now. Will have to look for my Feng Shui books....... Hope it helps some, Carol , Chris Ziegler <chrisziggy1@a...> wrote: > Anyone here know anything about Feng Shui? Guest guest
I studied Feng Shui with a master. There is SO much more to it than just rearranging your furniture. The Americanized version is QUITE simplified from the Oriental version. The most basic thing you can do to remain true to the " real " feng shui (and not the Americanized version) is to unclutter. Chi should be free to move around. Judy Send your FREE holiday greetings online! http://greetings.

I always keep the lid down so the cat doesn't fall in it (I've seen her do a balancing act on the seat rim), and the toddler isn't quite so tempted by its allure and mystique :-D *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com > >
Guest guest
I agree, there is so much to it, really a way of life and It all makes sense to me. Perhaps it's because I'm such an untidy person that I keep avoiding it! I keep on saying ' well I'll get one room tidy and sorted at a time and then it will be easier to keep it that way but............ Regards Ann - Scotland The most basic thing you can do ................... is to unclutter. Chi should be free to move around. Judy Send your FREE holiday greetings online! http://greetings. Guest guest
I unclutter, and then the clutter sneaks right back in on me. It has to come back when I'm sleeping, because I sure don't see it moving back in.
