Guest guest
Hi Chris: I forgot to thank you for the 'dog' soap. How refreshing. Thanks a bunch. Blessings and love, Effie
Guest guest
MM, Got a doggie question... my neighbor got a dog for her hubby, but he didn't want to have to deal with taking the dog out and changing a new baby's diapers...sooooo I didn't want Murphy to go to the pound so I took him in... if you saw his face you'd know why..heh.. he's adorable.. he's boxer/spaniel... and yes....you can try for weeks to get a mental image of that....but ya never will..hehe.. he looks like a boxer, but has longer ears...but not as long as a spaniel... well anyway... I have three problems... first one is dandruff... he flakes worse then a blizzard in Michigan.... I bought shampoo for it but alas no dice... second he licks himself...yes there... to the point that he cries...but he still keeps on going....third... he bites at himself like he's got an itch...and it's always on his hip... and he does it til he cries and just like the licking himself he just can't seem to stop...soooooo....... anyone have any suggestions???? Bright Blessings to you and those you love, Autum Rain Wolf
Guest guest
apart from the physical problems he sounds like he has some psychological problems too. Do you have homeopathic vets in USA? His hip chewing sounds like he has pain in there, which could be his joints or could be blocked anal glands, so probably needs a good check out. Dandruff - well, could be diet - you could ensure he has plenty of oil in his diet, cod liver oil or olive I don't like using essential oils on dogs because they will lick them off and their systems just aren't the same as ours Good luck with him, sounds adorable. We're just trying to decide whether to get a friend for the dog that remains now that we're all feeling a _little_ better having lost the old girl. Do we get a pup or a rescue dog or what!!?? Guest guest
MM, Well Anne, do you have pounds there? like humane society's? I would get a puppy from there first and save a life then spend tons of money on a pure bred.. even some of the rescue animals here like the grey hound rescue society asks for a fortune for their animals...me.. I prefer a mutt over a pure bred anyday...I think they make better pets to be honest...but others may have a different opinion...it's all up the the owner really...oh and thanks for the recipe's and the sites...I'm looking to make them after the holidays... anything else you can find would be wonderful...and my husband said his ancestors were from the high lands...whatever that means..heh... That would be the first thing on the agenda for me, and a good grooming, and nutro's Lamb and Rice for his diet. Deonia
