Kathleen, pinecones are great too. We have gazillions of pinecones here so I

save my old used wax, scent and color it, and dip the pinecones into the

wax. I tie ( twist ) wicking around the top to use as a dipping holder and

then it serves as a wick to light. They sell good around here. Deonia

I can't believe this is actually coming from ME! I don't usually have any

ideas for the home, but this one I learned from my mother.

What to do with dryer Lint. Make firestarters (which is what I'm doing right

now, which is why I thought of it!)

You know all that lint that you get from your dryer? Instead of throwing it

out, Save it. Collect card board egg cartons while you are at it.

Then, fill the egg carton hole with your dryer lint. Pour melted parafin or

other wax over the whole shebang and Bob's your Uncle (not my uncle, don't

have an Uncle Bob. Got an Uncle Mike and an Uncle Larry, Even got the Crazy

(literally) Uncle Jerry, but No Uncle Bob) instant firestarters that are

easy to break into sections. One is all you need to start a fire. Works

great!

Cheers!
