But that is the process of evolution and natural selection and it is OK.

The same reasoning supports the facts that since man evolved with plants

and animals and natural chemicals that can be traced back to pre-history

- and we share all of these synergistic chemical properties and traits

with these other living things, and with most of the microbial, fungal

and other smaller celled critters that made it through these processes

... we can deal with them better than we can deal with man-made

medications.

There are many man-made antibiotics in the drug store, for example, but

are they probiotic? We find probiotics in nature and man deals with

them easily and without destroying the immune system.

We can't fool Mother Nature and we can't force Her without suffering

some form of side effect .. the side-effects and contraindications of

isolated chemical produced products are well-known and I think we are

building a similar situation with GM foods. I don't think we can

improve on Mother Nature's work without creating some unacceptable

consequences.

I accept that it might be better to feed the hungry of the world with GC

food rather than let them starve .. but alternatives to that for long

term planning are better transportation and distribution systems because

there is NOT a food shortage in the world .. the food is just not in the

right places. Food has become a political tool. I also wear a hat as of International Operations for a NGO called the Black Sea

Economic Cooperation Agribusiness Group. I have intimate knowledge of

how pulses and sugar and cement are hoarded by multi-national

organizations and then traded to certain countries for mining rights and

other privileges - food is a tool and a weapon of power now. Butch
