OT: Plants That Clean the Air in Our Homes

Hi y'all,

 

Sorta interesting this. I have a spider plant in my office that is the

source for dozens of others throughout Ankara. Just pluck one of them

little spiders, plant it and you got another one ... :-)

Hi Butch, not only can you have a new little plant, but if you crowd it ( put

a lot of them in one pot ) it will produce funners with new little babies

faster.

And, not only do you have a new plant, but that plant will exchange the stale

air ( carbon dioxide )we breathe out , for new air ( oxygen ) for us to

breathe in! All plants work this way but some of the more popular ones like

the peace lilly ( spathiphyllum ) make the best exchange putting out more

oxygen for carbon dioxide than others. They also, require the lowest light so

they may be set anywhere in the house and thrive. Deonia
