I have a spider plant in my office that is the source for dozens of others throughout Ankara. And, not only do you have a new plant, but that plant will exchange the stale air ( carbon dioxide )we breathe out , for new air ( oxygen ) for us to breathe in! All plants work this way but some of the more popular ones like the peace lilly ( spathiphyllum ) make the best exchange putting out more oxygen for carbon dioxide than others.
