Guest guest
Hi Sandi, Yes it is GC tested .. but there exists no Absolute that is totally absent of a trace of hexane .. there are limits of authorized hexane in many food products to include most of the vegetable oils you use in your kitchen. To detect those minute traces .. we talking X small parts per million - requires some pretty danged expensive and sophisticated machinery for the analysis unless there is a sloppy job that is easily detectable by GC/MS. Nobody recommends ingestion of absolutes anyway and Jasmine Absolute has been tested dermally .. properly prepared Jasmine absolute is safe - in Plant Aromatics you will see that a 3% dilution tested safe against irritation and sensitization ... and you will also find that 3% dilution is VERY STRONG and will overwhelm other oils in odor. > Butch, > As I understand the Jasmine Chris offered is GC tested and is > clean of all chemicals. Correct! > Sandi The answer is clean of detectable chemicals .. like the corn oil or mazola or whatever folks have under their kitchen counter .. :-) Butch
Guest guest
I'm behind in my emails, so please excuse the delay. Thanks everyone for answering my question (especially Butch for being so patient with his explanation). BTW - I don't even drink vodka - LOL Peace, Yvette
