Guest guest
Hey Chris, > I promise I will share those recipes (at least the basics to get > y'all going;)) " within the next week " - as the internet company said > to me ... when I get to switch over to Sprint Ion(the OTHER high > speed folks in my area) I just really cannot handle this getting > kicked offline all the time and super slow dial up connection thing > (I just signed up for the free month of super odd AOL right now - and > I don't like it!). I am spoiled for sure with my broadband > connection .. even though @home was a pretty crappy broadband > company! It's no wonder they went bankrupt! I am such an American - > I want it ALL, but really I do pay enough too to expect it all > *giggle*! I'm used to being knocked off line 2-3 times an hour and having an Illegal Operation Popup appear when it happens. Anything at the bottom of the screen, be it messages I'm working on or whatever, sometimes can be saved but sometimes the screen locks tighter'n a gnat's butt stretched over a wagon wheel. And we pay 3 or 4 times more for I-Net services than do Americans .. but then .. on the other hand, when it comes to non-tech services, like maids and the like, for $150 a month you get a full-time maid/cook .. and I haven't washed my car in all my years in Turkey - my doorman does it. Haven't run an errand ore even changed a lightbulb in years either .. So I reckon we all gotta bear a cross or two .. ;-p Y'all keep smiling, Butch http;//www.AV-AT.com > *Smile* > Chris (list mom) > > New Baskets Listed > http://www.alittleolfactory.com

Guest guest
I use @home also...and we haven't had any interruption with our service yet. I've been just waiting for it though, that a hassle...especially since we *just* switched from Knology to @home ~last week~! LOL!
