Welcome fer'shur.

If you wanna write fiction .. sign up as a Young Living distributor and

get their list of what their oils can do .. and how their Guru has been

ordained by Gawd to bring healing to the world .. ;- Or join the Idma

list and watch a couple of the obsessed marketers push their products ..

pull some wild disease out of your mind and ask a question and watch one

or two of them walk on egg shells and tell you how " they have received

good feedback from their clients on their blend of humma-humma, dingdong

and whoopie officinalis. "

Aromatherapy as an industry is an off-the-wall cottage industry in which

many of the marketers use misinformation/disinformation/rumor and hype

to push their products - they take the popular aromatherapy novels and

try to proclaim that they have had good luck using the oils in those

novels for the purposes stated .. and sometimes, they use the known

effects of isolated chemicals to extrapolate the effects it might have

when used in a natural synergy .. which is a part of the rumor that

keeps many folks from using safe oils for therapeutic benefit.

What I'm saying is that Aromatherapy as an industy stinks - but the oils

smell great and they are very helpful to the mind, body and soul.

> Something like " what kind of herb might cause severe hemmoraghing? "

I recommend you go to these URLs and start to learn a lot because any

time you ask a question on essential oils you will get five different

answers from three different people - not so much on herbs because there

are a few thousand years of known usuage in that area.

> or " What might be used to treat a severe cough? "

Expectorant for the symptoms or killing the cause ? They will ask?

> But know I'm on the edge of my seat wondering what the heck " YL " and

> " Raindrop " are. I'm fascinated by what I've read so far, but I'm still

Then go here to the YL files, read and then decide for yourself

If you are interested in the two foundation reference publications for

aromatherapy and essential oils, ask me and I'll tell you where you can

get them .. ;-p

> Thanks,
