I will NEVER ever tell my pumpkin pie secret publically again .. so

listen closely .....

the key to making the most awesome pumpkin pie is ....

seperate your eggs, whip the whites to soft peaks and fold into your

pumpkin pie mixture before pouring into the pie crust :)

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

You guys are making me hungry! No fair! (I just failed my glucose test for this pg :P) Great to find that out the day before Thanksgiving.

You and I do the same when making pumpkin pie. I also don't use canned pumpkin, I use a nice fresh sugar pumpkin :)

Hmmmm.

I know that both stevia and rice bran syrup are yummy sweeteneres that

do not affect blood sugar levels the way all others do. Stevia is even

safe for diabetics .. AND has no calories! (yes it is a scam that is is

not widely available in diet products)

Hehehe, ya gotta go get some stevia and brown rice syrup and make

goodies to your heart's and baby's heart's content :)

Yep! I figured you wouldn't used canned pumpkin ;) Thanks for the advice on the stevia. I'll take a look at our local store. You'd love this store, it's a natural foods grocery, very nice and very large. Also in walking distance from our house. I LOVE it! Hey, do wish me luck next week, they do the big 3 hr test. If I pass that, it's back to normal eating for me for Christmas. Gotta run and get the still icy turkey from the fridge

:)
