Guest guest
Thanks Chris. I looked it up and was still confused with all the definitions. In Roman times, didn't Pagans worship idols and have things like the god of wind, etc? Do modern Pagans still do this? I'm probably looking real stupid now, but I'm not up on the history of religions. Guest guest
Chris explained Paganism in a nutshell: > In a nutshell .... modern Pagans are pretty much folks who believe in a > God the Father and Goddess the Mother aspect to the creator Hey hey! Good job! Is religious study a hobby of yours? I find people who are not Pagan but have a general understanding of it usually love religious study. That's why their opinions are unbiased and factual. Hats off! Again, I'm sorry for bringing it up in this forum, though. I assumed it was a Pagan list...I forget pagans don't have a market on herbs and oils- *smile*. Thanks Chris! Guest guest
Heya Angel The list isn't a "Pagan" list, but the list mom is a Pagan Its not a taboo subject here as I think its pretty neat that the world is full of so many different people who worship and celebrate their creator in so many different ways *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com ~*Angel of Bast*~ wrote: Chris explained Paganism in a nutshell: In a nutshell .... modern Pagans are pretty much folks who believe in a God the Father and Goddess the Mother aspect to the creator Hey hey! Glad to hear I'm not going to get booted before asking my first question! I have to say, this seems like a very " good " group-full of questions and no judgement. I like that in a list and a person. Glad to be aboard. AoB
Guest guest
Heya folks, My email server shut down on me (the one I have all of my 101 sent to), so my email managed to go bouncing within about 8 hours! Ack, I think I have it all fixed now, just have to go in and setup a new server and get Exchange running again to provide me a pop3 mail server:) Anyways, I missed a bunch of posts in my bouncing limbo, but this one just trickled into my in box. So I thought I would pop up and mention that I am pagan too (as if I hide it or something). And it is neat that this isn't a pagan list, but is instead open to anyone and everyone interested in this sort of stuff:) I have come across many groups that are either pagan (herb/oil groups) or anti-pagan, but very few that are just open. Tis mighty refreshing.
