Guest guest
Happy Thanksgiving, This recipe was passed along to me from my Lemon Myrtle (Backhousia citriodora) distiller's wife. Crust: 2 cups crushed wafer cookies, 125 gram butter. Melt butter, add to cookies. Press into springform pan. Filling: 250 grams cream cheese, 1 tin condensed milk, half cup of lemon juice. Beat cream cheese, gradually add condensed milk, then lemon juice. Add 1-2 drops Backhousia citriodora oil, stir. Pour into shell and chill. *Smile* Chris (list mom) Happy Holidays! http://www.alittleolfactory.com
Guest guest
Chris's Lemon Myrtle Cheesecake starting my brain rolling. My aromatherapy group will discussing the use of essential oils in cooking for it's January meeting. I do have a Mindy Green & Kathi Kevilli book with a small chapter devoted to this area. If anyone has any recipes or helpful hints, I would appreciate hearing from you.
