Guest guest Posted November 21, 2001 Report Share Posted November 21, 2001 Chris' Cranberry Lip Gloss 4 oz sweet almond oil 1/2 oz beeswax 20 fresh cranberries 1 Tbsp. honey Place all the ingredients them in a small saucepan. Heat on low - med. until the mixture just begins to boil and cranberries start to pop. Stir well and gently mash the berries. Let sit for several hours. Warm again. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve or cheesecloth to remove all pieces of cranberry. Stir and pour into containers. Guest guest Posted November 22, 2001 Report Share Posted November 22, 2001 I forgot to add that after you strain the gloss to remove the bulk of the cranberry you'll still of course have cranberry juice that makes it into the gloss mixture .. it is best to let it cool for a few, then stir it and THEN put it into containers.
