Guest guest
Hey Smiling Effie, > Yo, Butcher Mon: > > Received the reference for plant aromatics today and ya, I'm smiling. You generally smile - so what's new? ;-p > This is really very comprehensive and will prove to be very useful. Glad you think so .. it is for sure and I think it is almost a basic requirement for mixing dilutions - that is, if folks wanna be safe. > Gotta keep this old brain functioning! That old saying " use it or > lose it " can be applied here for me. Dang .. maybe that's what I oughta be doing now cause I'd forget my butt sometimes if'n it wasn't attached .. ;-) > Thanks again for all the info on the oregano and you are sure right > about putting it in the olive oil. REAL smooth. By the way, do you > have a properties file on your olive oil? I haven't used anything > else since I got some from you. Wonderful, wonderful. Got a lab test on it .. lists every chemical component down to the 1/10th of a percent or so .. the Turkish government is very serious about olive oil and rose oil .. lots of controls on it. What you are detecting is the low oleic acid .. that is Early-Harvest Extra-Virgin .. normal X-Virgin can have an oleic acid content as high as 1% .. the one you have is 6/10 of 1% so it's far more smooth and tasty. Not normally exported as it's bought up by the 5 star hotels and restaurants afore it's produced - I was able to get a barrel by pulling in some markers from some connections. There's not a lot of it produced as it's made from very green olives at a early stage .. normal X-Virgin is made from green olives just when they start to speckle .. which is a sign they're gonna start to ripen soon. With the Early-Harvest, you get a lot less oil but a much higher quality. > Also, I noted in your post that you take oregano twice a day when you > feel the bug coming on. I have been taking it once a day for just about > a week not and can sure tell the difference. I take it twice a day when I need it but I've never had to take it that long at one time. > Should I discontinue for now until I feel a need coming on or continue > for a few more days. If it were me .. and I felt I had kicked the bugs .. didn't have any more symptoms like swollen glands, sore throat, sneezing or fever, I would quit now. Oregano oil works pretty fast on a wide range of bug critters and in my opinion, it helps big-time to shorten the period a virus can rage on - though there are some viruses that just have to go into defilade when they feel like it .. then, the best we can do is try to strengthen our immune system and make'em go back to their hidey hole. Folks up at the WTC cleanup site are using oregano oil now as a preventive measure. One person up there wrote me today: > > Your oregano saved me from the WTC cough BTW ... still taking it! > > We need it in our kits for next time!! > I am taking off for my daughters tomorrow afternoon and won't be back > until Sunday (weather permitting). Gonna have to have a special > suitcase just for my oil essentials, LOL. Gotta have my rose otto > along, too. They are talking rain/snow starting Friday. We have been > so lucky this fall cuz at this time last year we were buried in snow > already and we haven't had any yet so guess it is time. Want a > snowball fight??? Have a good time and a safe trip .. here in Ankara, it's freezing now. It is supposed to snow tomorrow and it might get warmer .. ;-p > Happy Thanksgiving from a grateful American. > Effie > I'm smiling And to you and yours and all the good folks on this list. One of the ladies works for me here is gonna cook some kinda Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday for the office .. we eat lunch here in the office. This gal lived and studied in the US for a number of years and learned all the American dishes. We found most everything we need except cranberry sauce so we're gonna substitute Turkish Sour Cherry sauce ... ;-p Y'all keep smiling, Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
