I hear ya Butch. I downloaded and installed Netscape 6, looked at it for

about half an hour, and never opened it again. What a horrible

browser! I'm still a Netscape Communicator 4.7 user.... but not for

email. Eudora is my favorite for email.

Ditto! And why on earth do so many people use it? Aside from the the

virus issue, it's just a really bad email client.

Hey Chris,

 

Just got down to this one. If you are using Netscape 6 I can understand

your problems and I'll tell you that you haven't yet found them all - if

you are frustrated now, be prepared for more.

 

Netscape Communicator is the way to go. Get above that and you're into

big time problems. Netscape 6 doesn't work with some Secure Servers and

it has lots of other built in problems .. Netscape is aware of this and

the folks here in Turkey recommend against it's use.

Netscape Communicator 4.6 is the way to go ... ;-p Ain't no perfection

in this world but it's as close as you're gonna get with Netscape.

Yea .. and I remember when you were trying to get me to use it instead

of my Netscape Dinasaur 3.0 .. which I still use on and off .. ;-p Has

something to do with Ol' Dawgs and New Tricks, etc.

Like I said .. don't know what it is and that doesn't bother me.

Haven't tried that one but I might some day .. I like my 3 and 4.6.

Netscape 4.6 imports them .. quicker'n a crooked politican can steal.

You can't take no Holiday Postal job nohow ... you coming to the Eastern

List Mom gonna do some research for me on a Christmas gift I'm gonna buy

for myself this year .. gonna get a Lap Top. Been putting it off a long

time but I'm out of the office too much and need one now. Want one that

has enough power and gadjets to run Cape Kennedy .. and if it can also

cook cornbread, that's good too.

Go back to the Netscape 4.6 .. you just gotta save a lot for when it

does it's periodic crash thing .. ;-)

You know things always look better in the morning. Well, sometimes they

look better in the morning. Really, sometimes they look worse in the

Smiling .. sky is black here .. looks like snow. Temperature dropped

big time in the last hour or so. Think I'll go get a haircut now .. not

sure which one they should cut and the barbers all feel so guilty at

taking my money for a haircut that they throw in a free shave.
