Hi all,

Logged on for a quick check on friends in NY and decided that as I'm here,

I'd let you know the latest:

Theodore Stewart Clive Petrides was born on Nov. 12 at 2:14 am. He was

8pounds 5.6 ounce and 19.1/2 inches long.

A successful VBAC! I went in and was 8 dialated and labor stalled, (probably

because I was worried about being in the hospital LOL), so I watched Seattle

beat the Raiders (Am. Football) between contractions, watched the plumber

waltz in and start working on the sink (very surreal) etc.

At 11pm, was still only 8, and after having been doing this since 1 am,

bellowed for an Epi. I got it. Rested and then after 3 pushes, the boy was

born.

His color sucked. He had also swallowed mecconium, after all that was dealt

with, my 2nd degree tear (only 7 stictches) was sewn up.

Theo is a very placid fellow, a lousy breast feeder, but he's learning. Glad

he's here FINALLY! LOL

There you go,more than you wanted to know!

I probably won't be back much for a little while. Husbands already gone back

to work, so I've got my hands full with the 4 kids!

Take care ALL!

Cheers!

CONGRATULATIONS to you and the safe delivery of Theo. Love the name. Hope

he isn't as 'stubborn' growing up as he was coming into this world lol.

Guess he just wasn't ready! Take care and blessings to all your family.

Blessings and love,

And I thought we had a hard time understanding Scots - my friend watched the Scottish movie Trainspotting with me and asked me to translate half the film *giggle* ;)

You want to try watching Rab C Nesbitt - there's even Scots that canna understand that!

" Ann - Scotland (but not Scottish!!!) "

Such an interesting thing, what is it about being English or Scottish?

My maiden name sounded like it originated from Scotland, someone asked

me once, I didn't know and so asked my Dad. He looked insulted and said

" No it is English, not Scot! " No real explanation just a horrified look

and that was the end of the conversation. Like I had asked him if we

sacrificed babies or somethign. What is it that engenders such a thing?
