Guest guest
Hi Chris, I have windows 2000 I HATE it..... I want 95 again. I liked 95 the best...Yes it crashed and all but, I knew how to fix it!!! Now I feel like I am learning all over again! Maybe it is because I have win2000 professional. I actually locked myself off the computer for 3 days until my son came and got me back in...LOL Now do you see why I am learning all over again!!! Although I have to admit it is faster than 95. Patti in PA. - Christine Ziegler Friday, November 09, 2001 9:55 PM OT: Rave For Windows 2000 Hi Y'all,I just have to say .. I got my new computer system with the Windows 2000 Professional Operating System, which for folks who don't know, is the latest version of the Windows NT operating system. I love it, it is GREAT! It does NOT crash and I haven't turned my computer off in over a week (I just put it on stand by at night). I have used Windows 3.X, 95, NT, 98 and ME .. and this is the BEST by far. BTW I HATE Windows ME and I know nothing about the Mac O/S or the new Windows XP O/S. I am even going to install the Windows 2000 O/S on my laptop, which currently has Windows ME running on it. I tell ya, I really do hate Windows ME! So far in my experience it is the most unstable of all the Microsoft O/S I have ever used. It crashes on me very regularly - and it even destroyed my hard drive by crashing on the plane enroute to Turkey (and considering I bought the laptop specifically FOR the trip to Turkey, that was BAD). OH, and TRY to get Sony to pay for a new hard drive from even an authorized Sony dealer in Turkey if you bought your 'puter in the US - NOT gonna happen - trust me, I know from experience ....... So anyway, just a little rave for my new Windows 2000 O/S and rant about the others *Smile*Chris (list mom)Celtic Sea Salt - BIG Salehttp://www.alittleolfactory.comMy Pictures of Aromatic Plants and Exotic Places In Turkeyhttp://members.home.net/chrisziggy1/triptoturkey.html
