Guest guest
I'd be interested. I was just getting together my list of holiday gifts. Would be super easy to make some extras and swap for some stuff I don't make (like all this wonderful soap you talk about all the time . I also just got in 8 new recipe books and managed to dig out a couple of my grandmother's old journals for some good reading. Grandma made everything (shampoo, bath scrubs, blister cures, you name it), and thank the goddess she wrote it all down. The recipes are all through her journals in with her daily entries. She usually wrote in her journal two or three times a day. I just love reading through them. They are such a treasure. Blessings, Soseneda Quidquid Latine dictum sit, altum videtur. Guest guest
Hi Chris, I'd love to join in ! So how do you see the swap working? I've been in two different kinds... everyone swap with everyone else & limit the numbers (each person sends and recieves lots of goodies), or everyone send stuff to one place & then forwarded to someone else on the list (everyone gets one )? Anyway - count me in - I've just started making soaps & I do a lovely body butter ! Jane :-)) (ps ... just checking that you've got my jasmine co-op order in there somewhere, 'cos I hadn't heard back from you yet...) Guest guest
Hi Chris I think this is a really good idea, and it's really nice of you to remember us 'overseas buddies' I only make for my aromatherapy clients so far, what with the problems of labelling to keep the authorities happy and most of my makings are for problems, like my 'Joint gel' which some find really helpful with arthritis/rheumatism. although I do make some creams too. I'd like to know how th swap is going to work and then see if I can join in somehow. Thanks again regards Ann - Scotland

Guest guest
Janet I just did 3 swaps back in sept/oct and one I had 4 people, one had 8 people the other one had 15 people....there are alot of people on this list as well as out of the country so for me I would pick the buddy swap at this time due to the holidays and how swamped with orders some of us can be with our web businesses. Guest guest
I would be interested in swapping my candles for some soap, lotions, bath fizzes or EOs. Let me know when and how we do this. I have never done anything like this. The homeschool list I am on does a Christmas card swap but not a product swap. Guest guest
Great to hear so much positive interest for the swap Now one major question to ask ... do y'all like the idea of being paired up with " Swap Buddies " who swap items between just the two of them, or having a central Swap Collector who distributes goodies to all after getting a whole slew of goods sent to them from everyone? Swap Buddies may be a heckuvuh lot easier but everyone gets a widers assortment of goodies with a swap collector! *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://alittleolfactory.safeshopper.com
Guest guest
I would vote for the Swap Collector. Call me selfish, but I would rather get a whole bunch of things!!! Guest guest
I have never done this, sounds interesting, my question would be since I am not sure how many people are on this list, or total number of people interested, i.e. how much product would be involved. ((Hugs)) Janet I would vote for the Swap Collector. Call me selfish, but I would rather get a whole bunch of things!!! Guest guest
Thanks Helaine, I could probably do 15 but my fear was 50-100. I do agree with you through perhaps a group swap in Feb or March as a " we survived the Holiday treat. " Janet Janet I just did 3 swaps back in sept/oct and one I had 4 people, one had 8 people the other one had 15 people....there are alot of people on this list as well as out of the country so for me I would pick the buddy swap at this time due to the holidays and how swamped with orders some of us can be with our web businesses. Guest guest
Okay, I have decided ... for the holidays this year we will have a Buddy Swap. Everyone who wants to be in the swap tell me offlist and I will pair y'all up with a buddy to swap with. If anyone wants two swapping buddies I am sure it can be arranged. Ground rules will come soon *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://alittleolfactory.safeshopper.com

Guest guest
Hi Janet, Linda, all... The swap collector and swap buddy sounds great - but here at least, the post office is already swamped with holiday orders going out and they people who have to work there are nice but nervous with all that's been going on.............what about after the holiday mail rush? Guest guest
All the " how to contact me " stuff is in my signature block. I really don't use much of them anymore. Man I miss the chats I used to be in on IRC. I don't really have time for them anymore, but more than that, I don't have anyone to chat with about stuff. All that IRC moderating knowledge for nothing:) Blessings, Soseneda Quidquid Latine dictum sit, altum videtur. Guest guest
Marilyn, Of all people, to hear that from YOU, I'm shocked!*LOL* Sorry but I have little sympathy for sending packages through the mail just cause the postal folks working are " Nervous Nellies " or " Antsy " , for good reasons or not. If they can't deal with it .. they can get another job! Harsh - yes, reality - YES! The Post Office needs folks to send MORE mail to keep them from needing a gov't bailout due to fear of mailing. MAIL IT ALL this holiday season folks .. keep our businesses from going under! Spray your mailboxes, wash your hands, take your echinacea and screw these terrorists and their plot to hinder and ruin our convenient, enjoyable, (okay, spoiled )American lives! I wanna have fun this holiday season! *Smile* Chris (the mean and evil Wicked Witch Of The West list mom) My Domain Will Return This Week!
