Guest guest
Hiya all, Ok.. I very recently received a bulk herb order --- on the herb bags was " clearly " stamped...NON-IRRADIATED - they ship UPS. This tells me that irradiation does do 'something' to our herbs/eo's and since we have some time before those machines are in place, I know of at least one supplier who is checking out both UPS rates and FedEx rates. Meaning this would (in the near future), up shipping prices, but I'm willing to pay em... just a thought for everyone. Hugs, Marilyn
Guest guest
> > Hi all, I remember seeing a post about irradiation damaging the 'vibrations and spirit of the oil' well here is my take. Having been irradiated so much as to cause permanent physiological and physical damage, my spirit and 'vibrations' are still alive and well. Molecular changes may be possible but it is still the same oil, vibrational is perceived by an individual not the oil. Regarding the 'cr--p' about its psychological affect, that is also individually perceived and an oil that calms lady D still can drive Lady B to the bathroom to throw up. Would be interesting to see actual viable study on the affect of irradiation on eo's. Sue
Guest guest
Hey Marilyn, My thoughts on this irradition issue. > Ok.. I very recently received a bulk herb order --- on the herb bags was > " clearly " stamped...NON-IRRADIATED - they ship UPS. This tells me that > irradiation does do 'something' to our herbs/eo's and since we have some They say it does .. and maybe it does .. and if it does .. then all of us have been using EOs that have had " something " done to them for a long time since irradition is conducted on almost all bulk shipments of products coming into the USA through the ports of New York .. not so in Baltimore. AND almost all the oils coming into the USA from Third World and Emerging Market countries (where the major production is from) come into the New York ports. So - if we buy that irradiation does something bad and aromatherapy still works, we gotta accept that the condition of an EO means nothing, AT is a buncha hype and most benefits are psychological, emotional or placebo - OR we gotta accept that irradiation does not harm EOs .. ;-p > time before those machines are in place, I know of at least one supplier > who is checking out both UPS rates and FedEx rates. Meaning this would > (in the near future), up shipping prices, but I'm willing to pay em... > just a thought for everyone. We been using FedEx Ground and UPS for a long time and for all orders except the small ones, FedEx Ground is almost ALWAYS cheaper than USPS Priority Mail. If FedEx learns that folks are gonna avoid USPS then they might raise prices. If the USPS learns that they are gonna fall on their butts due to lack of business when irradiation kicks off, they will most likely lobby the Congress and get an exception for most areas of the US. In truth, irradiation of mail is a temporary and fruitless effort in a battle against organized and well-trained Psychological Operations teams intent on spreading terror. All we will do (after spending hundreds of millions of dollars) is force the PsyOps Terrorists to start using FedEx, UPS and DHL. When we start irradiating FedEx, UPS and DHL, the PsyOps Terrorists will start spreading the stuff in the shopping malls ... the ultimate Grinch against Christians at Christmas. I'm an old PsyOps type .. planned and executed lots of such operations in the 'Nam .. course, we didn't use chemical, biological or radiological crap .. but I gar-an-tee if I were planning this stuff the US Gummit would not be able to stop me unless they caught me .. and these cats are, I'm thinking, a helluva lot better trained, better equipped and have better intel support than I did .. and are certainly more ruthless.
