Guest guest
Yes I am still here. That is rapidly becoming my least favorite question. Okay, on to " Smack the man " . I am married to a man who is acting like the MOST hysterical American around. Which is rather impressive as he's a cool cucumber Brit... He's going for his flu shot today. His reasoning? " because then if I get achy etc, I'll know it's anthrax and not the flu " . He got hit with a pillow. The only reason he's not sporting a BRUISE, is because he said this with a sly smile. He IS going for the flu shot today though >sigh<. His choice, but I've told him if he gets Alzheimers, I'M not going to sit around and wipe up his dribble, it's a HOME for him! AND if he gets the flu anyway, I have promised to stand around and laugh at him. Ya know, I'm going to HAVE to order some of Butch's Oregano. I got some for my mother, she has too many health problems to mess with. As for the pain in the backside I'm married to...I'll shove a bottle of the stuff down his chops and if it doesn't kill him...well, he should get better. ;-). In case you haven't noticed...I'm not the most compassionate person to walk this earth. The only upside is, I expect HIM to shove ME in a home , if I come down with the dribbles, etc. ;-). I've seen too many people in my family being forced to take care of someone, it's the hardest job I've ever seen, I wouldn't wish it on ANYONE! >sigh< Off to pick up the man-cub. Cheers! Guest guest
Kathleen- My god girl you make me smile. I needed that today, living in Wisconsin, having seen snow flurries Friday, I am shrink wrapping 26 large drafty leaded glass window, in preparation for winter. Thanks for helping me keep my sense of humor when so many around us seem to be losing theirs. ((Hugs)) Janet >Yes I am still here.
