I must have " escorted " at least a dozen > bees out in the past two weeks! Most spiders I leave be, but a few ugly > ones go out into the yard (okay I did murder the one black widow in my > kitchen but that is the ONLY SPIDER, EVER that I've killed!) I don't kill bees or other stinging critters if they come in the house. I find a way to get them out a window ..... growing up in Kentucky where we had lots of Brown Recluse, I can say I ain't so nice with spiders in the house .. but I like'em outside and understand their purpose. As for ants in the house .. they gotta go .. and if I see a cockroach, he better have his affairs in order. Meeses and rats in the house .. they gotta go. Since chasing'em out would be like trying to herd cats, I reckon they gotta go permanent like. They can live outside with my blessings - but they're too funky to be living in the house. I don't like critters in my house. I don't kill things outside if I can help it less'n I plan to eat it. I don't kill snakes ... never liked to kill them. Grew up with snakes all around ... lots of non-poison types and a couple of bad ones - copperheads and rattlesnakes mostly as we were too far north for cotton mouths - and I didn't kill'em. But down in Georgia, I had a rattlesnake come out of the woods to the back yard one day. Wasn't more'n 3 feet maybe but big enough. Tried every way to turn him around and make him go back where he came from .... even scrapped him up inside a fish landing net and took it to the edge of the woods ... laid it down and I knew ol' Jake No Shoulders would crawl out and go into the woods. But the dang fool came back into the yard again. I reckon he was confused but I was tired of playing so had to do him in. I had kids then ... had neighbor kids on both sides too, so I figured it was the only thing to do. Wish he had gone back into the woods. Folks is another story .. they know better. Give'em one chance to leave me alone and I'll go out of my way to avoid'em if I can. But if they want to harm me or mine and they won't go away, I gar-an-tee they won't get as many chances as that rattlesnake did ... ;-( Y'all keep smiling, Butch http://www.AV-AT.com > *Smile* > Chris (list mom) > > http://www.alittleoflactory.com
