For those who like rice pudding, this one is simple

yet very unique.

 

Rice Pudding With Rosewater Ingredients:

5 Tbs. cornstarch3 to 5 Tbs. sugar (to taste) or your choice of sweetner.3 cups milk2 Tbs. rosewater 1/2 tsp. lemon zest1/3 cup mixed blanched almonds and pistachios, chopped 2 cups cooked rice.

Preparation: Blend the cornstarch, a little sugar and about one cup of milk to form a paste. Bring the remaining milk to a boil in a saucepan; add the paste slowly, stirring constantly. Remove pan from heat and add remaining sugar, rosewater, lemon zest and rice. Pour into individual serving dishes and garnish with zest and nuts.
