My Bigmother had a game Rooster, pretty thing he was too, but he sat up on the fencpost leading to the barnyard and flogged and spurred me EVERY time I went through that fence. I hated that rooster and one day I decided he had picked on me long enough, besides, my Bigdaddy ussesd to tease me about being afraid of him Sooooooo, that day when he jumped on me , I grabbed him by the neck and started wringing for all I was worth> Just about that time Bigmother came to the back door ( she heard him squawking all the way up to the house) and hollered," SISTER ! What are you doing to my rooster"? It surprised me and I let him go. Well,he went flying across the barnyard and landed in a heap by a tree. His neck was streached out about three inches and he almost didn't get up. He got up and moped around there for about a day and a half before he died. Funny, cause I never could wring a chicken's neck but dI sure wrung his! LOL PS, IF you think this is a funny story, sometime i'll tell you what I did to my Bigdaddy's prize milkcow!
