Guest guest
Yep that's birds for ya... Roosters .. I should start here with I used to raise rabbits and when I got married my wife's says to me real sweetly.. " Jim.... Martha Stewart has chickens,, could we have chickens.. " some hundred birds later.... we had the same kinds Martha has had and some more odd birds.. and we always bought sexed birds.. well there is always a rooster in the bunch some sexing?.. anyway we get the birds up to pu-birdidity and the teen boys are out.. not before we have been attacked , stalked, almost knocked over and hated for being alive the rooster is a little devil for sure... the girls now are a handful too.. is there is no rooster the girls elect an " out chicken " she is elected to do the rooster work to notice the sunrise to announce any intruders into the hutch to do the male job while being a girl chicken.. so it is.. something a real laugh... we have had many laughs for the chickens we have learned chicken songs and will be driving some where and bust out in chicken songs.. our chickens share our house with some wild flocks.. doves, quail , roadrunners, and a few others... it is interesting to hear chicken clucking in dove..??/ coo.. cluck cluck coo coo COO//in quail doodle ie eeee ie dowelll it is obvious to hear if you are here...the dove and others have talked their way into the hutch to share food and water... we will do chicken again we now know what we like about hem.. and what we do not.. jim Nicholson wrote: > > Hi Deonia, Kathleen.. all....... > > Roosters share???????
