Guest guest
Hi all, Hope all is well. I don't post very often as I am still learning and enjoying all the information from this great list. I would like to ask for comments or suggestions on a particular topic - Burns. My daughter burned her hand yesterday by touching an exhaust pipe. (I know - but you know how those 15 year olds know everything and then forget everything they know when they do something dumb) Any way she has 2nd degree burns on her hand, our doctor told us to put Neosporin on it and we have an appointment tomorrow to see him again. He will then decide if she needs physical therapy for her hand. Are there any essential oils I can use to help her heal and assist in the physical therapy? (She plays the trumpet and was hoping to get a scholarship for college) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Vickie
Guest guest
Vickie Now this is when I would use a higher dilutiion- some use aloe gel- but aloe is a staph growing medium so be aware... I would use lavender VERA and matricaria chamomilla- the results should be excellent-you *can* dilute them in water in a spray bottle and spritz on-* I* would use them neat. I have used this on my own burns- but right away- and I didnt even blister when I certainly should have. This will help even now. Guest guest
Hi Vickie, First I wanna say I love your goat's milk soap Now for the burn. I like to use Lavender EO and or Blue Chamomile for burns ... in some aloe vera gel .. applied several times a day for as long as needed. Helichrysum is also good for healing and scars. Hope that helps and hope she gets her scholorship! *Smile* Chris (list mom) Jasmine Sambac Absolute Co-op http://www.alittleolfactory.com Vickie Swaim wrote: Hi all, Hope all is well.
