I will make no

recommendations to others but if it were me - I know what I would do.

Butch, if it were you , what would you do? I would be afraid to give her more than a drop, and I wouldn't know for how long to keep it up. This dog is my heart, I took her away from her momma when she was only 6 weeks old and have had her with me constantly since then. She never gets more than 5 feet away from me and only goes outside to use the bathroom or get into the car. Deonia

Hi Deonia,

Gosh, I feel so bad for you. .. having gone thru this as well - our dog

was 17, with a tumor though it was non-malignant. She was " always " with

us.........and it sounds like you are the same as us - they're not

animals, they're family.............yes? Our unconditional love givers.

We kept Coco (our dog and family member) even moved her down here with

us (against what the vet said - said put her down.. she's old!

gggrrrrrrrrr), and had a couple of really good months with her here, not

even in the house yet, we were still waiting for it to be built.. so we

were staying at a place on Jax beach--- how she loved her morning walks

on the beach, the warm climate.. etc.. and us. (this is over a year ago

now) She finally had a stroke, and then we knew...........it was time.

We talked to her, found a vet here - Deonia, by this time, she was

suffering and that's what made the difference...........and it's still

been over a year and we'll go to talk to her or even look down at where

she'd " be " with us if she were right here.... I know what you're going

thru when you say she's your heart. And no, we haven't gotten another

dog.........yet.

Sending love, hope and comfort and a hug,

Marilyn
