Guest guest
From “Scrumptious Spookies” By Soseneda Rotting Brains 1 largish pumpkin 2 cups gummy worms 1 cup M & Ms 1 ¼ cups Corn syrup Red food coloring 1 tsp Cinnamon 1 tsp Allspice ½ cup Powdered Sugar 2 cups Spaghetti Cut lid off of pumpkin and hollow out center. Cut out eyes if desired (mouth and nose are too low and the ‘brains’ spill out). Cook spaghetti noodles until soft, drain and cool. Blend corn syrup, cinnamon, allspice, and powdered sugar together. Add red food coloring until desired color is achieved. Toss gummy worms, M & Ms, and cold spaghetti together. Place in pumpkin and drizzle with corn syrup mixture. Let sit for about ten minutes before serving. The color from the M & Ms will bleed out into the spaghetti. Best served with no spoon, but a lot of napkins. Guest guest
Rotting Brains 1 largish pumpkin 2 cups gummy worms 1 cup M & Ms The mind boggles! what are 'gummy worms' and 'M & M's'? - please? Regards Ann - Scotland
Guest guest
M & Ms are candy covered chocolates. They are little,, and the candy coating melts off and colors stuff all the time (hands, clothes, kids, whatever). Gummy worms are another kind of candy. They are semi transparent and chewy. They come in all sorts of shapes, one of them being worms. You can also find gummy bears, gummy butterflies, etc. They come in all sorts of bright colors (reds, oranges, yellows, greens. And around Halloween black). Sometimes the worm is several colors. I wouldn’t know of a replacement for them over there (I’m in the states). Any candy covered chocolates will work for the M & Ms. Blessings, Soseneda Quidquid Latine dictum sit, altum videtur. Guest guest
No offense taken. I know this isn’t the most health conscious recipeJ Some of the kids eat it, some don’t (they are too grossed out usuallyJ) But it looks really cool. Guest guest
Oh,Oh, OHHHHHHH!! I have the perfect setting in our haunted house for this. I think that I will have it in a skull instead of a pumpkin though. Thanks so much for the idea.
