Well, the story is that we have two houses. One in town (will be for sale AFTER the baby is born) and my parent's house (we just inherited) that is in the middle of 34 acres of douglas fir trees in the Oregon Coast Range. I have two computers with e-mail set up, so when I'm at home, I'm Michele at Home, and when I'm in the woods I'm Michele in the Woods. Prolly more info than you wanted LOL!.

Oh, and I wish I was a peaceful type person! LOL! I tend to be type A ;)

Oh! you lucky person - with all those Douglas fir trees! I just love trees. I've recently been studying Arbortherapy, which is based on Tree e.o.s and Tree Essences and part of the study has been to go and 'commune with trees' which is such a peaceful thing to do. If you've the time to just sit with them and walk amongst them they bring such peace. I particularly like Douglas Firs. We have quite a lot around here, together with Scots Pine, Larch and Beech. After the storms in March, several of the Douglas Firs lost some of their branches and for a while it looked rather like a battlefield, with branches and fallen trees everywhere. Now they just look comfortable. They stand so straight and tall and are so protective.

Thanks! I love the woods, the house we're moving to is where I grew up, so I know those woods like the back of my hand. Don't like going in after dark tho, too many bobcats prowling around. Nothing like the smell after a fall rainstorm in the pines!
