Oregano Oil and thymus capitatus

This is the stuff I first found after first hearing about Butch's use of

oregano oil. It was labeled 'oregano' but the real name was 'thymus

capitatus'.

I had to go across the river for it as we had none here in the HFS on

our side.

I asked Butch about it and he said it had the Carvacrol that would work

but it still wasn't really oregano.

At the time we tried it anyway and it also worked because of the high

carvacrol level. I don't know how many colds and such we aborted with

this stuff. I know it works as my DH really didnt' believe me, kept

teasing me about listening to some guy in Turkey I don't even know and

might not even exist. He always did tease me about if I got on the

internet that I'd find a boyfriend and leave him and go to arizona

because he heard of someone doing this. I even re-named my internet

connection shortcut icon on the desktop 'arizona' cause it was so

foolish and funny.

Anyhow, he tried it and was really quite surprised it really did work.

However, now we have the real stuff, 'O. dubium' from Butch and recently

mixed up another couple of dropper bottles of the stuff; the 30%/70%

oregano oil to carrier oil as he suggested it could be mixed.

This stuff is a dream compared to the other stuff as far as

palatability. The 'thymus capitatus' is ok if you still believe that

something has to burn and make you gag to work. I will be using the real

stuff this year, already used it. Of course maybe it was Butch's olive

oil that made it smooth and easy to take. Still burp a little oregano,

but it makes me want to throw together a pizza.;)

So it can be used but why when you can get the good stuff. Quite

honestly, any time we ever felt anything coming on and used this, just a

dose or two, we never got whatever we were coming down with. The one or

two times we got anything was usually when we didn't use it right away.

Then we used it and it help the recovery time cut down to a fraction of

the norm. Which I really really like as I hate lingering colds that take

forever to totally shake off. I get real mean(so DH says).

Just an unpaid, uncompensated testimonial(as if one is needed)from a

happy camper.
