Guest guest
hello , just me jim here reading a bit of discomfort and so I am a massage therapist and my wife is a massage school owner.... I have had the pregnancy massage class 2 times not because i didn't pass but because there is always more to learn... and have 9 years of experience so.. the message is **get a professional massage and tell them and let professionals work on you ...** be sure that your massage therapist has had the pregnancy massage class... there are some no no's for the mom and baby.. one is not to lay directly flat on the back as baby may actually pinch off its own blood supply so a towel or bolster should be used to give a tilt to the side one side or the other.. to prevent this happening .. another is stay off shoulder work at the top of the shoulders unless one wants to bring in milk time for that after labor... yet another is stay off areas of the ankles till after delivery also as it may induce labor or cramps .. **not to mess with these areas is important**... those are tips and there is much more.. but really get some permission from your doc/MD and call a local massage school and ask if the teacher of Pregnancy massage is busy?... that's the tip..!!) Jim and by the way baby is not bad .... baby is just baby...ouch ouff gosh!!! really get that massage.. jf Marilyn Nicholson wrote: > > Aww, Kathleen... > > I think it's called labor??? Guest guest
Cool, sounds like it's about time. for my first I had 24 hrs of back labor and the DR having private little conversations in the corner of the labor room. F@# & *$g A##holes! Sorry about that, had a flashback, anyways they were discussing whether or not to break my tail bone as it had apparently been bent sometime in my youth(prolly that skateboard I tried twice) You've given birth before so you're prolly all familiar with this. I do wish you the best. -Ilene > Kathleen Petrides wrote: > > Off the tail bone! GRRRRRR. I've been feeling a bit nauseous for the > past 2 days and now it's on my tail bone! Guest guest
Oh! I have to beat that with one at 34 and one at 35 and I still worry! My bestest friend in the whole-wide-world(except for DH)has miscarried several times and you are right, it is heartbreaking. She has one, but he really would have liked a brother or sister, he is very active. They have given up on another. My DH & I raised my nephew also. He is 25 and has two little ones of his own, so I get to be a "gramma" to them, since my sister is not close. Guest guest
It's not considered a " problem " unless it happens 3 times. They say once or twice is a " fluke " but then three times you need to be tested. :-( Marilyn Nicholson wrote: > Hi Ann, > > I think they'll " " " always " " " be our babies, no matter how old they > are.. > and THREE times before they'll test???? Guest guest
Boy, do I really feel old!!! My oldest is 50, another son is 48, and my daughter is 42. I have been very blessed, however, with 6 granddaughters (24, 21, 15, 10, 7-year-old twins), 2 grandsons (12 and 6), and 1 GREAT grandson (3). You are right in stating 'enjoy' them--they really do grow up too fast. I look back and wonder just where has all this time gone. All my best to the new and soon to be new mothers. I know I can't turn back the clock, but I can wind the d--- thing up again! Blessings. Effie Ann <Ann Thursday, October 18, 2001 10:47 AMRe: Re: How do you get a VERY bad baby... Oh!
