Okay guys, here's one for ya!

Towards the end of pregnancy, one gets more and more heavy, more and more

and more tired, until all you want to do is die.

THEN! You've got 47 hours of Wonderful LABOR to huff and puff through. You

can't eat, or drink or SLEEP!

So what happens the minute the baby's out? 24 hours of adrenaline rush!

First of all, I want to know from which part of my exhausted body has the

nerve to send out the adrenaline rush, cuz I want to cut it out, BEFORE I go

into labor.

Second of all, I want to know whose responsible for that joke of nature! I

want to know who's to blame when I spend the next 5 years trying to catch up

from the exhaustion of Pregancy, Labor, that stupid 24 hour adrenaline rush,

and of course a baby that doesn't know night from day...

>YAWN!< Off to go grocery shopping for a house full of horrible trolls!

Cheers!

Where did you hear that one from? I ate during labor, drank a LOT during

labor and slept 3 seconds at a time in between contractions ... :) Have you

been drinking your Red Raspberry Leaf Tea like a good girl???

<I drank water, ginger ale and could've had apple juice - they give you

" nothing " ???? Could've slept too, if the contractions weren't so close

together - as for eating, I did that BEFORE I went to the hospital! <grin>

<Adrenaline rush? Well, yea, but it sure didn't last 24 hours.. more like 24

minutes and then zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.............. :)>

<night from day? You had one of those too???? I figure the Dad's responsible,

since he didn't go thru the pregnancy, labor... etc.. hey, you

gotta blame someone, right? grin!>

My midwives practically forced me to drink so many oz. every half hour

to stay hydrated. I was also allowed to eat up until a certain point but

I was so nauseous that I didn't eat all day.

I slept off and on. I even tried to stay awake but at a certain point, I

couldn't stay awake any longer and would pass out for a couple seconds

between hard contractions. My body just took over and said, " You're

going to sleep now, so you have energy later. " and I would fall asleep

for those couple of seconds (that was with the first one--the other 2

the labor was too fast to sleep).

My adrenaline rush lasted about 5 hours and then I slept for 3 full

weeks the first time. LOL The second and third Baby, you don't get to

sleep that much, but I sure could have!

Kathleen-

((Hugs)) we love you and will not remember anything you say

after the baby is born, so complain, gripe, what ever, once the

little angel from God arrives we will be too busy blessing him/her & you.

Get it all out as you wish.

Besides this baby is perfect, so adjusted he/she just fits into

your lifestyle and in 6 months all you remember is this was an

easy pregnancy.

You are so blessed and we love you.
