Here I am, exhausted and making time to take a nap now every day and what does my mother say? " When I was that pregnant, I so much energy that I climbed up a mountain " Energy? What the HELL is that anyway? I haven't seen any since I started down this road. And if any of you chirpy pregnant people come and tell me " Oh YES, I am just bouncing off the wall " I'm gonna add you to my smack list! She was pg with DH at age 18 and I get tales of how she played tennis up until the day before delivery, and went bowling and etc.etc.etc! I wanted to smack her and say I'm THIRTY! that's a 12 year difference, my body is TIRED! Also, she only had one kid (had to get married, cause she got knocked up, but I " m not mean enough to bring up THAT fact). She never had to chase a toddler and be pg at the same time. Don't think so! Back then, my washer and dryer was downstairs in the basement... and I used to THROW the clothes down the stairs first... then slowly follow them down, (figuring as well, that since I was surer then hell, front heavy <putting this nicely> IF I fell, at least I'd fall on a pile of clothes! So, take your naps and take care of YOU.... it's your body, your tiredness.. you earned it, you deserve the naps, and by the way.. naps... whether pregnant or not, are good for you! Your body's telling you that you NEED one.. playing tennis is something probably not many of us need!!!!! <grin> I'll take the nap anyday - WITHOUT being pregnant!!!!!!!!! And bowling... ?????? Ummmm... how do I say this.. ok, got it... when I was pregnant, being that most of the weight was in the front.... I'd have gone right down the alley with the ball..
